Abstract

The subject of this master's thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the construction of a new hotel complex, in a scope corresponding to the execution design (DPS). The main objective is to design a comprehensive spatial, structural, and material solution, supplemented by a fire safety concept and building physics analysis. The hotel is designed as a detached building with one underground and four above-ground floors. The underground level (1st basement) houses a collective parking garage, technical facilities, cellar storage spaces, and staff facilities. The first floor (1st NP) is designated for commercial and social use, including a lobby, restaurant, and wellness area, along with guest rooms. The second floor (2nd NP) serves as an extension of the hotel lobby with administrative offices and a residential section with rooms. The third floor is dedicated to a congress hall and accommodation, while the fourth floor features a hotel dining room with a terrace. The load-bearing system of the building is designed as a hybrid system consisting of sand-lime bricks as infill masonry and a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton. The floors consist of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building's foundations are formed by a reinforced concrete foundation slab, which transfers the load to the subsoil through a system of large-diameter piles. The building is insulated using an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) with mineral wool insulation and a thermal-insulating system facade panel with a high proportion of glazed areas, ensuring optimal thermal-technical parameters and fire safety. The exterior appearance is defined by a grid of aluminum louvers. The roofing is designed as a single-layer flat roof with a vegetation layer (green roof), which contributes to rainwater retention and increases the thermal stability of the building.
