ДРОПШИПІНГ ЯК НОВИЙ ЕТАП РОЗВИТКУ УПРАВЛІННЯ ТОВАРНИМИ ЗАПАСАМИ
Abstract
The article examines the evolutionary path of inventory management theory. An analysis of the main factors affecting the construction of models of circulation of commodity and material stocks was carried out. The influence of the latest technologies on increasing the analytical capabilities of management systems and improving the logistics capabilities of modern times is considered. The author has established bottlenecks that hold back the development of inventory management models in practice. Modern research on procurement planning in the context of the digital information environment provides an answer to the possibility of expanding the temporal and spatial boundaries between the identification of a need and its satisfaction, which provides opportunities for revising traditional approaches to building inventory management models. The author considered the practical application of the inventory management system as part of the online trading model «Dropshipping» on the example of its implementation in the pharmacy chain. It was established that the introduction of a modified dropshipping model in the considered pharmacy chain optimized product and logistics costs, storage and sales costs, increased assortment competitiveness and reduced the shortage of goods. In addition, dropshipping acted as a driver of overall sales growth thanks to the attraction of additional sales channels and the expansion of the customer base. Conclusions were made regarding the positive effect of applying similar inventory management models for the market as a whole due to both a more efficient and rational distribution of available inventory among market participants and a reduction of entry barriers for new players in it. The set of such factors leads to an increase in market competitiveness, the consequence of which is its development and economic growth
