Abstract

This project hosts DFAS-Q (Quantum): Foundations of Decision Governance under Extreme Uncertainty, a foundational and living volume within Dynamic Financial Applied Meta-Science (DFAS). The work formalizes governance as the primary organizing logic for decision-making in environments characterized by non-collapsible uncertainty, temporal pressure, irreversibility, and systemic feedback. It explicitly challenges prediction-centric and optimization-driven financial analysis, arguing that such approaches lose governing legitimacy once uncertainty becomes structurally non-reducible. This volume is conceptual and doctrinal, not empirical. It does not present forecasts, statistical models, or applied case studies. Computational methods, quantitative implementations, and empirical validation are intentionally deferred to subsequent DFAS volumes and governed protocols in order to preserve conceptual clarity and methodological discipline. The document is maintained as a living foundational reference. Updates may occur as the DFAS doctrine and meta-scientific system evolve; prior versions remain accessible to ensure transparency, traceability, and scholarly integrity.
