Abstract

Reading is one of the fundamental skills used from the early years of basic education to the professional sphere in adulthood. During the early years, it is necessary for children to individually develop an interest in activities such as reading to stimulate their curiosity. Currently, children have problems with regard to interest in reading. This can originate at home, where connections between children are not developed, making it difficult to generate this habit in later years during the beginning of school development or even at basic education levels, where they lack skills such as comprehension, decoding, or development when reading informative texts.
