Functional Convergence of Biological and Cultural Pathogens in the Paralysis of Prefrontal Inhibitory Control
Abstract
This research elucidates the functional convergence between biological pathogens (e.g., Rabies, Toxoplasma gondii) and memetic agents (e.g., extremist ideologies, social media algorithms) in hijacking human behavioral control. By adopting an evolutionary neuroscience perspective, it proposes an "Integrated Multilevel Model" to demonstrate how these diverse agents target shared neural bottlenecks, specifically the prefrontal cortex and the reward system, to prioritize agent dissemination over host genetic survival . The study explores the neurophysiological deactivation of violence-inhibition mechanisms and its implications for understanding contemporary radicalization, cognitive rigidity, and fertility decline
