Abstract

SIUC‑NŒUD is the foundational module of the SIUC framework, providing a neutral, multi‑scale organizational architecture for describing how structural patterns become observable across different levels of organization. The module does not introduce mechanisms, hidden variables, or domain‑specific assumptions. Instead, it clarifies how alignment, misalignment, and reorganization emerge through the interaction of two operational principles: asymmetry and inter‑continuity. SIUC‑NŒUD formalizes the conditions under which relational configurations stabilize, diverge, or propagate across scales. It integrates conceptual intuitions from category theory, topology, dynamical systems, and information theory without depending on any single mathematical formalism. The module defines ascending, descending, and lateral transformations, and introduces structural attractors as descriptive tools for characterizing recurrent multi‑level patterns. As the structural core of the SIUC program, SIUC‑NŒUD provides the conceptual foundation for other modules (SIUC‑ORIGINE, SIUC‑MAGNETIC, SIUC‑TI, SIUC‑STRUCTURE, etc.) and supports applications in materials science, biological organization, environmental diagnostics, and information systems.
