Child and Caregiver Behavioral Health Screening Among Patients Diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Abstract
Patients with chronic illnesses have increased behavioral health (BH) challenges compared to healthy peers. For children and adolescents with JDM and SLE there is little existing research about their BH burdens and needs. The purpose of this study was to identify the most frequently reported BH concerns for JDM and SLE patients and their caregivers.
