Sufrimiento psíquico y acompañamiento socioeducativo en la infancia y la adolescencia: una aproximación desde la acción reflexiva
Abstract
The reports of international organizations which aim to detect and guide attention to the needs of children and adolescents, coincide in highlighting the increase in their psychological suffering and, therefore, the need to reinforce their socio-educational attention. With the aim of contributing to orientate the approach to this need from the practice of social education, this article observes and describes theoretically and reflexively a set of six dimensions that cross the constitution of the psychic universe of each subject: dependence and autonomy, loss and mourning, child demand, fostering, elaboration and psychic conflict. The choice of these is based on their relevance for exploring and attending to this suffering in the accompaniment offered to children and adolescents by social intervention professionals. A relevance that lies in the clarification and unblocking that their consideration and exploration generates in the study of each case and that the author has been able to confirm during his experience of more than ten years in tasks of supervision of cases and teams, research and training of professionals in hospital resources for children and adolescents, residential protection or community mental health. This work also provides indications on how to observe these aspects in daily professional practice.
