Abstract

This first phase of the project employs a qualitative research approach. One-on-one interviews will be conducted with Lebanese expectant mothers to comprehensively investigate their knowledge, attitudes and practices toward child passenger safety restraints use. Based on the analysis of the interviews, a conceptual model will be developed to inform the development of a CPRS intention-to-use evaluation tool that will be deployed in a subsequent research phase to quantitatively identify the factors associated with the intention-to-use CPSR among expectant mothers.
