Discusses, with reference to Opinion 2/13 on the Draft Agreement on the Accession of the European Union to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECJ), vertical manifestations of the mutual trust principle in relations between the EU and Member States.
