La cuestión económica en el periodo moderno: ¿Escuela de Salamanca, pensamiento hispano o segunda escolástica?
Abstract
The events that took place around the beginning of the modern period required special theoretical attention. In the economic sphere, new developments made it necessary to revise the theoretical approaches previously outlined within the scholastic tradition. Moreover, the Protestant Reformation marked the breakdown of the intellectual unity that had existed in Europe until then. Revisiting the established economic postulates makes it essential to reconsider how the theoretical developments of the Second Scholasticism are classified. These pages aim to highlight the relevance of using the term School of Salamanca to refer to the body of economic doctrine established during that period.
