The relationship between upbringing and education in three stages according to Jan Amos Comenius, Jan Patočka and Jan Sokol
Abstract
This thesis examines the perspectives of three major philosophers on the topics of upbringing and education. It analyzes how intergenerational dialogue has evolved over time and explores the reasons behind the differences in their pedagogical views. For all three thinkers, education is a central concern, closely linked to human wholeness and responsibility. Their ideas raise essential questions that contemporary educational systems should still take into account. Additionally, the thesis discusses the distinction between upbringing and education and considers when and why this differentiation begins to emerge, KEYWORDS Komenský, Patočka, Sokol, intergenerational dialogue, upbringing, educati
