Layer Coupling and Threshold Transitions in Planetary Systems A Multi Target Test Using Mars, Europa, and Close Orbit Rocky Exoplanets
Abstract
Layered planetary systems evolve under constrained energy flow. Energy is generated or supplied within interior layers, transported outward through finite conductivity or convection, dissipated at boundaries, and modulated by structural and dynamical constraints. The results presented in this framework do not assume that coupling must occur. Instead, they ask whether the structure of constrained nonlinear systems makes cross layer threshold behavior dynamically plausible and, under some conditions, expected.
