Abstract
The essay investigates Pascoli’s ideological stance in the first decade of the twentieth century within the broader context of the European political landscape, while also considering his distinctive poetics and the markedly interdisciplinary orientation of his academic activity. When contextualized and examined within the framework of his singular intellectual trajectory, Pascoli’s figure proves to be considerably more complex than has hitherto been acknowledged.
