HOME-30 Study: Predictors of Length of Stay and Days Alive and at Home Within 30 Days After Elective Minimally Invasive Surgery in Patients Aged ≥70 Years
Abstract
Multicenter retrospective observational study evaluating short-term postoperative recovery in patients aged 70 years and older at the day of surgery undergoing elective minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic hernia repair). Primary outcomes: length of hospital stay and DAH30 (days alive and at home within 30 days). Secondary variables include ASA, CFS, complications (Clavien–Dindo), type of procedure, weekend discharge, and center-level differences. International validation cohort is planned. Centers interested in participation are welcome to contact the PI.
