Establishing force-velocity-power profiles during motorized and non-motorized flywheel back squat exercises
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the effects of varying inertia and a motorized eccentric boost on the kinetics and kinematics of the flywheel squat exercise. It will also assess the intra- and inter-day reliability of key mechanical outputs (force, velocity, and power) during both non-motorized and motorized flywheel squat exercises. Additionally, the study will evaluate the agreement between the kinetic and kinematic data provided by the Exerfly flywheel’s software and measurements obtained from a MuscleLab strain gauge and linear position transducer setup.
