L’esecuzione delle sentenze della Commissione Feudale. Il caso di Andria
Abstract
This essay reconstructs the events in Andria surrounding the enforcement of the Feudal Commission’s rulings, highlighting the complex transition from feudalism to individual property ownership. Through an analysis of the financial and property relations between the municipality and its former feudal lord, a dense network of property and jurisdictional rights emerges, which approximates the modern diarchy between private property and public powers in the territory.
