PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBASIS MEDIA CROSSWORD PUZZLE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPAS PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar, terutama dalam kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 04 Metro Timur pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Learning berbasis media Crossword Puzzle terhadap hasil belajar, terutama dalam kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Desain Quasi-Eksperimental dan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi yang digunakan terdiri dari 83 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan 56 peserta didik dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes dan non-tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan model Problem Based Learning berbasis media Crossword Puzzle terhadap hasil belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 04 Metro Timur. Kata Kunci: Crossword Puzzle, hasil belajar, model Problem Based Learning The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes, especially in the cognitive abilities of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 04 Metro Timur in the subject of IPAS. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Crossword Puzzle-based Problem-Based Learning model on learning outcomes, especially in the cognitive abilities of students. This study used a quantitative research design with a QuasiExperimental Design and Nonequivalent Control Group Design method. The population consisted of 83 students, and the sample consisted of 56 students using purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used included tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique used was a simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the use of the Crossword Puzzle-based Problem-Based Learning model on the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 04 Metro Timur.
