Abstract

This project contains datasets, coding frameworks, and supporting materials associated with the manuscript, “Defining Cattle Handler Skill: A Systematic Review and Conceptual Framework.” The systematic review synthesizes peer-reviewed literature to identify and characterize criteria used to define, measure, or describe cattle handler skill. Through iterative coding and thematic clustering, the review develops a conceptual framework and taxonomy intended to support objective assessment and improved training practices. Materials provided include structured data extraction files, grounded theory codebooks, thematic frequency outputs, and framework development artifacts. These materials are shared to promote transparency, reproducibility, and scholarly extension of the proposed framework.
