Abstract

An Experts on Special Collections series event about permissions, policies, and open access in the archives, hosted by the Scholarly Publishing and Research subunit. Moderated by Rare Books Curator JoyEllen Williams. Curious about archives? What's inside? How can you visit? KSU Archivist Kate Matheny demystifies the policies, permissions, and restrictions that once inhibited user access and explores the field’s progress towards opening the archives.
