Heart Rate Variability as an Objective Indicator of Acoustic Comfort and Stress Recovery: A Systematic Review
Abstract
This project compiles the materials, data, and procedures associated with a systematic review on the use of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) as an objective physiological indicator of acoustic comfort, sound quality, and noise-induced stress. The study follows PRISMA guidelines and synthesizes recent evidence from laboratory, immersive, and transportation environments, discussing the predictive potential of HRV, its methodological limitations, and directions for future research.
Fields of Study & Subjects
