Abstract

This research project investigates the potential of music as a catalyst for meaningful group dialogue, with a focus on enhancing both group cohesion and individual resilience. Through a structured workshop format, participants share personally meaningful songs alongside the stories connected to them, fostering emotional expression and interpersonal understanding. The study assesses whether this method promotes a stronger sense of belonging, mutual support, and reduced interpersonal conflict. Utilizing validated psychological scales, the research will evaluate outcomes related to group dynamics, emotional well-being, and psychological resilience. The study aspires to provide both theoretical insights and practical tools for using music to facilitate social connectedness and group functioning.
