Abstract

We are conducting a scoping review of reports on the uptake, quality, and impact of three open science practices (registered reports; pre-registration; and sharing of data, analytic code, and study materials) in psychological research, 2015-2025. We are conducting this review in multiple phases. The first phase (completed) focused on the uptake of registered reports, and the second phase (ongoing) focuses on the impacts of registered reports and the process of registered reports (i.e., the quality of the process through which registered reports are produced, reviewed, and approved).
