Abstract
This study employs a vignette-based design in which participants evaluate therapeutic advice representing three approaches: collectivistic therapy, culturally informed, and individualistic therapy. Participants rate trust in and preference for each therapist’s advice. Measures of cultural orientation, acculturation, and demographic variables are included to examine predictors of therapeutic trust and preference.
