Abstract

The section about the 1950s of the Dossier "Pensare i festival" (Ricerche di S/Confine, 2026) opens with a context introduction that looks at thegeopolitical, cultural, and theatrical scene when the Festival internazionale del teatro universitario (FITU) and the Festival dei Due Mondi started, focusing on the historical conditions that made the rise of the festival as a shape.The first part of the introduction (contextualization and introduction of the birth of the FITU) has been written by Zaccheo. Sacchettini is the author of the presentation of the metodological importance of oral sources and the introduction of the birth of Spoleto.
