Miradas femeninas desde la creación escénica de Látex-UAQ
Abstract
This research analyzes how female characters have been portrayed in different theatrical productions (the first two collectively created, the last by playwright Óscar Liera) of the LÁTEX-UAQ Theater Laboratory. The characters are: Malinche from the play *De Sal y Arena*, Medea from the play *Quién es Medea*, and Madre from the play *Las Ubárry*. Through a specific analytical table, the aim is to contribute to the reflection on women's struggle for gender equality in different eras and contexts. As a Laboratory, we consider it necessary to investigate this social phenomenon from the perspective of scene construction. To this end, a descriptive study with a qualitative approach based on a documentary design has been developed. This study examines the portrayal of the aforementioned female characters and engages with the following topics in the resulting analytical table: Socio-historical context, Body-Territory, and Traditional Home. The result marks the beginning of the path charted by the Laboratory regarding this theme.
