La crítica de Quentin Meillassoux a Martin Heidegger: una revisión del concepto de “correlacionismo”
Abstract
At the beginning of the 20th century, “new realisms” emerged in philosophy, which developed important critiques of continental and analytical philosophy. One of the branches of these new realisms was “speculative realism,” which counts Quentin Meillassoux as one of its main protagonists. Meillassoux criticizes a wide range of modern and contemporary philosophers for being “correlationists,” for not being able to speak of reality “without some correlation” to human beings or consciousness. The objective of this text is threefold: 1) to reconstruct Meillassoux's critique of Heideggerian “correlationism”; 2) to present some realistic approaches to Heidegger's work, which would allow us to account for the ancestral statements or, at least, make explicit the complexity of the problem from a Heideggerian perspective; 3) to recognize —notwithstanding the above— the aspects of the discussion that have remained open.
