Nuclear Carleson embeddings on Hardy and Bergman spaces with exponent 1

Abstract

We characterize nuclear Carleson embeddings and weighted composition operators on the Hardy space H 1 and the Bergman space B 1 α . This answers a question left open for H 1 by J. Shapiro and P. Taylor in their seminal paper on composition operators in early 70's. We also characterize absolutely summing Carleson embeddings on the Bergman space B 1 α and study comparison with nuclear ones.
