Changes of Personality Functioning and Personality Traits using the Structured Clinical Interview for the Alternative DSM-5 Model for Personality Disorders – Module I ( SCID-5-AMPD-I)
Abstract
This study investigates how impairment in personality functioning assessed by the SCID-5-AMPD-I changes over the course of psychotherapeutic treatment. We compare outpatient cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and systemic psychotherapies regarding the improvement in personality functioning and its distinct domains (Criterion A of the the Alternative DSM-5 Model of Personality Disorders, AMPD). We also examine changes in maladaptive personality traits (Criterion B of the AMPD) and other related personality variables.
