Abstract

These studies about the use of constructed action (CA) in LSFB and (Belgian) French were carried out in the context of my PhD project at the LSFB-Lab of the University of Namur, funded by an F.R.S.-FNRS Research Fellow grant. These studies are based on annotations carried out on videos of conversations and narrative retellings from the LSFB and FRAPé directly comparable corpus: - Study 1: Comparing the frequency (proportion of discourse time) of CA in LSFB and Belgian French - Study 2: Comparing the coordination of different articulators for CA in LSFB and Belgian French - Study 3: Comparing the proportions of (subtle, reduced, overt) CA degrees across LSFB and Belgian French
