CPR Dynamic dilemmas
Abstract
In this study, we conceptualize these interrelated tensions as dynamic dilemmas, where both social and ecological interdependence co-evolve, and investigate how CPR users adapt their cooperative strategies under changing ecological and communicative conditions. We conducted a series of dynamic CPR experiments with small-scale resource users on Colombia's Caribbean coast, manipulating the resource’s regeneration rate, the uncertainty of future availability, and the possibility of within-group communication.
