Pre-attentive Processing of Faces from the Social Interaction Perspective
Abstract
Identifying social interaction faces from a third-person perspective is crucial. However, the underlying neural mechanisms, especially the pre-attentive processing of faces from the social interaction perspective remain unclear. The present study would like to use the visual mismatch negativity (vMMN) as an indicator to investigate the neural mechanisms of processing face-to-face and back-to-back dyad under unattended conditions. In addition, this study manipulates interaction angles to further explore the perception of interactive faces.
