Resilience-Promoting Programs and Interventions for Adolescents: A Scoping Review
Abstract
This project contains the methodological materials associated with the scoping review “Resilience-Promoting Programs and Interventions for Adolescents: A Scoping Review”, which aimed to map existing programs and interventions designed to promote resilience in adolescents aged 10–19 years, their main characteristics, and the reported outcomes. The review was conducted in accordance with Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and reported following the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). The final bibliographic search was conducted on 10 February 2026 across ten databases: Web of Science Core Collection, Scopus, ERIC, MEDLINE via EBSCOhost, APA PsycArticles via APA PsycNet, SciELO, LILACS, CINAHL, BDENF, and the Cochrane Library. Publications from 2010 to 2025 in English, Portuguese, or Spanish were eligible. No systematic gray literature search was conducted. Following the study-selection process, 32 primary studies were included. Study selection was independently conducted by two reviewers, Laura Ferreira and Catarina Gabdrakhmanova. Data extraction was performed by the lead reviewer and subsequently reviewed by the academic supervisors. No formal critical appraisal or risk-of-bias assessment was undertaken. The files available in this project include the review protocol and methods, complete search strategies, the study-selection record and PRISMA-ScR flow, data-charting and organization procedures, and a statement of methodological contributions.
