Abstract

Using mock ballots for the 2024 Presidential Election, we look at how voters describe their experience completing different types of Ranked Choice Voting ballots, using single choice voting as a control. We ask voters about their ease using the ballots and their satisfaction with the process as a fair method of exercising their democratic rights. Conditions include: single choice ballot, RCV grid ballot, RCV optic scan ballot, RCV handranked ballot, RCV grid with minimal instructions, and RCV grid with video instructions.
