R program for point and interval estimation of an outcome value A at which the direction of the stochastic ordering of the treatment and control distributions changes
Abstract
For samples from Gaussian distributions, the program calculates a converging sequence of point estimates of A. It also provides bootstrap quantiles for interval estimation of A and the point estimate of the difference in the two groups’ standardized means (DSM), which can indicate the direction of the ordering at a specified threshold with its 95% confidence interval.
