Abstract

This project focuses on understanding validity evidence based on testing consequences. Our objective is to advance scientific knowledge about the impact that the consequences of psychological and educational assessment have on individuals’ response processes when completing tests and questionnaires measuring both cognitive and non-cognitive domains. The project will provide insights into, among other aspects, which types of consequences influence assessment, how these consequences are interpreted by those being evaluated, and the role this source of validity evidence plays within the concept of validity. This project is transitioning to Zenodo. OSF will continue to host materials previously deposited here, as well as the project’s registrations where applicable. For studies already underway in OSF, the current intention is to continue the associated materials here until February 2027, where appropiate. New studies initiated from now on, as well as new and updated research outputs, are expected to be deposited directly in the project’s Zenodo Community: https://zenodo.org/communities/educons/
