CAS 2.0 — Public Research and Collaboration Edition
Abstract
CAS 2.0 — OSF Description CAS 2.0 is a simulation-based research framework for evaluating long-horizon behavioral drift in adaptive systems under strictly frozen-parameter constraints. Phase I established baseline drift and stability characterization under non-adaptive conditions. Phase II introduced adaptive drift coherence under frozen-parameter discipline. Phase III-a evaluated asymmetric noise regimes under deterministic seed execution. Phase III-b modeled recovery-time distributions across standardized perturbation regimes. Phase IV extended these standardized configurations into long-horizon persistence testing across 3k, 50k, 100k, and 200k step horizons. All studies operate exclusively on synthetic data. No human inputs, sensor systems, telemetry, or cloud infrastructure are involved. Parameters are fixed at initialization, and time serves as the primary stress variable governing exposure to structured perturbation. CAS 2.0 isolates drift accumulation, recovery behavior, stability persistence, and regime transitions without mid-run tuning, reset, projection correction, configuration mutation, or parameter adjustment. © 2025 Ronald Reed (Ebysslabs) ebysslabs.research@proton.me
