Abstract

A British Council 'Connections Through Culture' funded project between Radio Amnion and Jatim Biennale taking place in Java and at Berwick Media Festival (2026); in collaboration with Dr George Clark and Dr Eiko Soga. "Hantu Laut Reverb is a new collaboration between artists in Indonesia and the UK. The project aims to explore the echoes of the non-human world through instigating new collaborations and interlocal exchange. Building on the theme 'Hantu Laut/Ghosts of the Sea' of the 2025 Jatim Biennale, this project will extend and amplify ecological issues of our entangled life with the ocean from Gresik in East Java to Berwick-upon-Tweed in UK."
