Pharmacological interventions beyond antiarrhythmic therapy to reduce atrial fibrillation recurrence after electrical cardioversion: a scoping review

This OSF project hosts the protocol for a scoping review investigating non-antiarrhythmic drug (non-AAD) pharmacological interventions aimed at reducing recurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) or atrial flutter (AFlu) in adults undergoing electrical cardioversion (ECV). The review will systematically map and characterise existing evidence from randomized controlled trials, identify research gaps, and inform future clinical and scientific work. Materials included in the project comprise the full protocol, database search strategies, data extraction templates, and supporting documentation.
