Abstract

This project evaluates the Smart Tourism Capital initiative and Green Pioneer Programme, led by the Universities of Surrey and Malta. It examines how participating cities and businesses implement smart and sustainable tourism strategies, assessing governance, innovation, and policy learning to inform future European frameworks for sustainable destination transformation.
