Tuberculosis contact investigation in Upper Bavaria

Official population numbers (with relevant numbers highlighted), data dictionary, R code and R output of results from the analysis of a retrospective observational study on the yield of tuberculosis contact investigation in Upper Bavaria between 2018 and 2022. The analyses yielded two publications which differ contentwise. Publication 1 appeared in an English and in a German version in different journals. Publication 2 is currently under review. The English version of Publication 1 called "Tuberculosis contact investigation: an evaluation of yield and guideline adherence, Upper Bavaria, Germany, 2018 to 2022" has been published in Euro Surveill. 2025; 30(39):2500096. The German version of Publication 1 called "Tuberkulose-Umgebungsuntersuchungen in Oberbayern im Zeitraum 2018 bis 2022: Ergebnisse einer retrospektiven Beobachtungsstudie" has been published in Epid Bull. 2026; 12:7-20. Publication 2 is currently under review.
