Abstract

This OSF project contains a hypothesis manuscript outlining the Hematic Stiff Gelsis (HSG) hypothesis, a proposed framework for understanding peripheral–fascial–central interactions in Long COVID and related conditions. The hypothesis is grounded in the view that microvascular injury and inflammation may act as an initiating event, leading to altered interstitial fluid dynamics and subsequent fascial and systemic involvement. The manuscript is intended to facilitate scholarly discussion and further investigation by documenting the theoretical structure and clinical observations that motivated the hypothesis.
