КІНЕТИЧНА АРХІТЕКТУРА ЯК НАПРЯМ СУЧАСНОГО ФОРМОУТВОРЕННЯ
Abstract
The article explores kinetic architecture as one of the contemporary directions of form creation in public buildings. It reveals the evolution of the concept of kinetics from 20th-century experiments to the integration of digital technologies and adaptive systems in modern design. The main principles of kinetic architecture are defined: mobility, adaptability, interactivity, and reactivity. The article analyzes global experience in the implementation of kinetic structures, in particular The Shed in New York, Al Bahr Towers in Abu Dhabi, Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro, and Kiefer Technic Showroom in Austria. The trends in the development of kinetic systems in Ukraine are outlined using the examples of the Promprylad.Renovation, UNIT.City, and House of Europe Mobile Pavilion projects. It is concluded that kinetic architecture forms a new aesthetic of movement, where form is perceived as a process and architecture as an adaptive, “living” system capable of responding to people and the environment.
